The Technology Service Center (TSC) has been established in the technology park with consideration of the needs and conditions of food industry in Iran. The two main reasons are the facts that most of our industrial units are unable to seek and obtain specialized consultation on their own, and also it would be more efficient to arrange access to the needed services by centralizing efforts in a single organization. The TSC has been set up with the goal of assisting and supporting industries by providing training and consultation services in the areas of finance, technology, marketing, product and process development, and application of information technology. 

Many small and medium sized food industry firms in Khorasan province are set back by basic problems and shortcomings such as the inability to improve their productivity and technology, achieving higher added value and competitiveness within domestic and international markets. The TSC has the expertise and ability to identify these problems and provide the necessary services in a coordinated manner to resolve the problems. In fact the TSC, with its own staff of specialists and outside experts affiliated with it, will be a source of assistance and services for all small and medium firms throughout Khorasan province. TSC will provide systematic help and consultation in such areas as modern production techniques, quality improvement, application of new technologies, modern management methods, training, etc.
