The park's information center will offer services in the area of information and communications technology to all the food industry and biotech units in the park. Its activities will include:

• Setting up specialized information bases for the purposes of promoting, marketing and the dissemination of information in the area of food industry and biotechnology.

• Design, operation and application of specialized software in the area of food industry engineering and biotechnology.

• Collecting advanced information on food industry and biotechnology at a global level, and establishing specific and electronic libraries.

• Providing up-to-date network technology as a background and means for the information and communications services needed by the park.

• Providing consultation services in the field of information and communications technology needed by the food industry.

With regard to specialized information bases, this center has already set up web sites for the strategically important products such as saffron, fruit juice and concentrate. The latest methods, technology and equipment have been used to set up the park's information and communications network. The park is in the process of developing the best and most modern information architecture to serve the food and biotech industries.
